The Samsung Fascinate is going to be available for purchase online Wednesday for $199 with a contract, and available in Verizon stores Thursday. The Fascinate is Verizon’s version of the Galaxy S, and includes the same specs but with a custom Touchwiz skin on the Android OS.

Engadget gives this phone a 6/10 and says that the Touchwiz skin is prone to freezing and not very user friendly. The default search engine is also set to use Bing with no way of changing it. Besides these two downsides this phone really delivers. It is basically a Droid Incredible with a 4″ screen instead of 3.7″. It has the same small form factor and great camera, as well as the Hummingbird 1GHz processor with GPU that does an incredible job with HD videos.
If you really want a Droid X but don’t like the size you may want to check out the Samsung Fascinate.
