Nvidia announces Tegra 3

Today Nvidia announced the Tegra 3, a new ARM Cortex A9 quad-core processor for smartphones and tablets. Nvidia claims the Tegra 3 has 3 times the graphics performance of the Tegra 2 while using 61% less energy, supposedly allowing the Tegra 3 play HD video for 12 hours.
