RIM has officially announced their new Blackberry OS, 7. This comes after they accidentally put up a website talking about the new Blackberry Bold Touch that told a little about the new operating system.
The two new phones that take advantage of this are the Blackberry Bold 9900 and the Blackberry Bold 9930.
The new OS will focus on faster web browsing that will deliver better JavaScript Performance along with support for HTML5, and the UI will also be much simpler and easier to use.
One big thing in the Blackberry OS 7 is the Blackberry balance feature that allows personal content to be separated from corporate content. How this will work is unknown but will be known when the two new phones launch in summer.
Some additional features include voice based searches, wider document support and a better media experience.
