Samsung Infuse 4G

The Samsung Infuse 4G will be available from AT&T starting May 15th for $199 with a contract. It is the thinnest 4G phone yet at 0.35″, but it also has the largest screen ever (4.5″ Super AMOLED Plus). This is a monster screen, and even larger then the DroidX and Epic 4G which were the former record holders at 4.3″.

RIM announces Blackberry 7 OS

RIM has officially announced their new Blackberry OS, 7. This comes after they accidentally put up a website talking about the new Blackberry Bold Touch that told a little about the new operating system.

The two new phones that take advantage of this are the Blackberry Bold 9900 and the Blackberry Bold 9930.

The new OS will focus on faster web browsing that will deliver better JavaScript Performance along with support for HTML5, and the UI will also be much simpler and easier to use.

One big thing in the Blackberry OS 7 is the Blackberry balance feature that allows personal content to be separated from corporate content. How this will work is unknown but will be known when the two new phones launch in summer.

Some additional features include voice based searches, wider document support and a better media experience.

Apple iPhone 5 to include mobile e-wallet

It looks like Apple is joining the ranks of the Nexus S and will include mobile wallet technology in the iPhone 5.

Richard Doherty, director of the consulting firm Envisioneering Group, told Bloomberg today that the next-generation iPad and iPhone will both include near-field communication technology. Doherty cited engineers that he personally knows who are working on the project.
